The World Trade Center roundabout is currently not safe for pedestrians to cross as some of the crossings are only zebra crossings, one of the crossings is close to the edge of the roundabout and cars fly round at high speed without you being able to see them. So to be safe many people cut across a bit further up the road to give some extra space to judge the cars coming around the roundabout – several people have been fined for crossing the road at an un-designated crossing.
I wonder why there are not pelican crossings at each crossing of the roundabout to make this safe? It is only a matter of time before there will be a fatality. With the amount of pedestrians accessing the Trade Centre I think the surrounding roads should be made safe for pedestrians to cross.
