I see the need for the introduction of “School Zones” and the stronger enforcement of road laws therein within The Emirates.
Many a time do I see people driving recklessly within these zones that are the pathways for our children to enter their educational facilities.
I would like to see stronger road signage and enforcement from patrol officers to warn drivers as well as higher fines for offences committed within these zones. Speed cameras are also a necessity in these zones as opposed to only being installed on main roads.
I hope that no child must be victim to any sort of traffic accident in order for my suggestion to encourage the authorities to take necessary action to increase the safety and happiness of our children.
