good day
it is observed that major reason behind the traffic jam is traffic diversion without prior information.
once drivers found that there is a traffic diversion or the road which they have to use is blocked or closed, they will start jumping traffic lines inorder to find the alternate route.
most areas of uae this information is given to the drivers by means of traffic sign boards, but not all areas.
for temporary closure of road or diversion , if same sign boards are provided at least 500 meter or 1000 meter in advance, these accidents can be reduced.
