The Dubai Chamber of Commerce Sustainability Network Road Safety Task Force organized a webinar joined by member companies and industry experts, which raised awareness about road safety among the local business community.
The virtual event, attended by more than 90 participants representing 27 companies in the UAE, focused on tips to avoid driving distractions, identifying and avoiding road hazards and the importance of tyre safety and maintenance in order to prevent road accidents.
The webinar featured presentations from Thomas Edelmann, Founder and Managing Director, RoadSafetyUAE; Khalid Al-Ramahi, Customer Engineering Support, Michelin AIM.M.S. Sridhar, Group HSEQ & Sustainability Manager, Tristar Group.
RoadSafetyUAE spoke about the important topic of ‘What holds us back from driving safely – Distracted Driving’.
The Dubai Chamber Sustainability Network Road Safety Task Force includes 27 member companies. The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) and RoadSafetyUAE support the task force as knowledge partners.
